A small studio with a stubborn standard
SHOUSHI began as a one-room studio above a tea shop in the French Concession of Shanghai. Our founder, Jennie, was trained as a goldsmith in Florence and returned home convinced that Asian fine jewelry deserved the same uncompromising standards of craft.
Six years later, we are still in that same neighborhood, just a few blocks over. We have grown to a team of forty jewelers, designers, and gemologists, but our practice has not changed: every piece is hand-finished, every setting is hand-set, every chain is built to outlast its wearer.
We sell directly to the women and men who will live in our jewelry. No department-store markups. No influencer campaigns. Just pieces, made well, sent to the people who will love them.
