The Silver Collection: A Manifesto in Metal

When we began designing the Silver Collection, the assumption inside the studio was that it would be a simpler version of the gold work. The same forms, the same stones, set in a less expensive metal.

The first prototypes disproved this within a week. Silver behaves differently. It is more reflective, more prone to oxidation, and considerably less forgiving of imprecise soldering. A construction that looks elegant in 18k gold can look flimsy in sterling, and a setting that holds securely in gold can let a stone wobble in silver.

So we redesigned. The Silver Collection is not a translation of the gold work. It is a separate body of design, made for a separate kind of wearer — someone who wants the discipline of the house at a price that allows them to wear a different piece every day of the week.

The stones are smaller. The lines are simpler. The finishing is, if anything, more exacting, because silver shows every mistake.

It is the line we wear to the studio. We hope you will wear it to yours.
