From the first sketch to the final polish, modern technology and traditional craftsmanship come together to transform precious materials into jewelry made to be worn, treasured, and remembered.
Every DIAMLUME creation begins with an idea inspired by light, beauty, and individuality. Our designers develop the initial concept through sketches, carefully considering its proportions, structure, gemstone placement, and comfort. The design is then transformed into a precise 3D CAD model, allowing us to review every angle and refine even the smallest details before production begins.
Once the design is approved, a high-resolution wax model is created from the digital file. This model captures the form, dimensions, and intricate details of the future piece, serving as the foundation for the casting process. At this stage, a digital vision becomes something tangible—the first physical expression of a new DIAMLUME design.
The wax model is placed inside a mold and surrounded by a specialized investment material. During heating, the wax melts away, leaving behind an exact cavity of the design. Molten gold or another selected precious metal is then carefully poured into this space. As the metal cools and takes shape, the piece begins its transformation from an idea into lasting brilliance.
After casting, the raw jewelry piece is removed from the mold and carefully cleaned. Our artisans trim away excess metal, refine the form, correct subtle imperfections, and assemble any separate components. This hands-on stage combines technical skill with the trained eye of an experienced craftsperson, ensuring that every curve, edge, and connection feels balanced and intentional.
Each gemstone is individually inspected and precisely placed by a skilled stone setter. Whether the design features prong, pavé, bezel, channel, or another setting style, every stone is secured to enhance its natural brilliance while providing lasting stability. The relationship between light, gemstone, and metal is central to every DIAMLUME creation. Each setting is designed to allow light to move beautifully through the piece.
The jewelry is gradually refined using specialized tools and abrasives. Surfaces are evened, edges are softened, and intricate areas are finished by hand. This careful process removes the final traces of casting and creates a smooth, comfortable feel—because true beauty should be as effortless to wear as it is captivating to see.
The piece is polished through several stages to reveal the natural luster of the precious metal. Depending on the design, our artisans may create a brilliant mirror finish, a soft satin texture, or a combination of contrasting surfaces. Every reflection, highlight, and detail is considered to help the jewelry capture light—and help you wear it.
Before leaving our hands, every DIAMLUME piece undergoes a detailed quality inspection. We carefully examine the gemstone settings, surface finish, construction, proportions, and overall appearance. Only when every element meets our standards is the piece considered complete and ready to become part of your story.
