Find Your Ring Size
A ring should feel like it was made for you, because it was. Finding your size takes only a few minutes at home. All you need is a ring that already fits well, a ruler, and the chart below.
What You Will Need
- A ring that fits the finger you are shopping for
- A ruler marked in millimeters
- A strip of paper or a piece of string, if you do not have a ring to hand
Method 1 — Measure a Ring You Already Own
This is the most accurate method. Place the ring flat on a surface and measure the inside diameter, from inner edge to inner edge, in millimeters. Measure three times and take the average, then find that number in the chart below.
Method 2 — The Paper Strip Method
Wrap a narrow strip of paper snugly around the base of your finger, mark where the paper overlaps, then lay it flat and measure the length in millimeters. This is your inside circumference. If you are shopping for a wider band, add approximately half a size, since wider bands sit higher on the finger.
International Ring Size Chart
Finger circumference is measured in millimeters. If your measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.

Fitting Notes
- Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are at their largest.
- Avoid measuring when your hands are cold, as this can make fingers slightly smaller.
- For wide bands and stacked rings, consider half a size larger than your usual size.
- For a pinky ring, measure the pinky finger separately rather than scaling down from another finger.
- If your knuckle is significantly larger than the base of your finger, choose a size that passes the knuckle comfortably.
